Why we do this...
Each Christmas we locate and adopt families to bless. The families we select are typically hard-working single parents supporting their children. These are families who could really use a “boost.”
We’ve been blessed through the years, as friends have joined Franca and me in the giving. Here’s how it works: We collect the funds, go on a shopping spree, and then host a big wrapping party. We deliver the wrapped gifts to the families usually on Christmas Eve. We are sure to leave each family with a cross-ornament to remember this day, along with a word of encouragement and hope. We help God bring light to the families.
Our buying is very intentional as we discover each child’s needs and wishes, along with the parent’s needs and wishes. Our shopping helps fill those specific needs. We make the process as personal and intentional as possible.
It’s such a blessing for everyone involved. You’re welcome to join us with your money, time, and prayers. Give money for gifts, help us shop, come wrap gifts, or help deliver. You can do one or all!
My wife Franca and I love the Lord with all our hearts and we want to share a message of hope and joy to whoever we can. We gain such inner joy helping to bring light to families, and we also love seeing our giving friends have a blast doing so with us. One thing we’ve learned: people love to give. And this is a great opportunity for you to give and actually see your money impact local lives.
